I picked up hamburger meat and garlic cheesey bread from Winn Dixie with the plans of making hamburger helper. I figured I would let he child pick which "flavor" hamburger helper. He's the pickier of the two- so if it's something like that I usually let him pick.
He chose Cheesy Enchilada. Which was perfectly fine with me.
It took about a half hour to make. I made the garlic bread to go with it. Although I don't think he child ate any. But the rest of us did.
Hamburger meat was $7.30
Cheesy garlic toast was $3.49
So it was $10.79 to make dinner tonight. We already had milk and the Hamburger Helper. So I'm not counting that.
Five of us ate tonight so $10.79 so it was $2.15 a serving. Not bad.
I don't wanna hear it about I should of made from scratch.
Everyone's fed and happy.
So that's what went on the table here. what did you have for dinner?

@thislittlepennyearns Surprisingly, not really. It wasn’t as large of a Thanksgiving meal as years past. Which is good since I’m trying to lose weight.

@AmbiePam I was thinking about trying to lose weight. Usually I lose some in the summer but I was so sick this summer I didn't do as many activities as I usually do

We ran out of ham last night. We still have turkey but the kids wanted something different.
