Strange power surges.

This evening the house has been experiencing random power surges where one room will loose power for a few seconds or one or two things. I just randomly lost the internet for a few minutes. We lost the t.v. twice, but not the Apple t.v. box or lights. I've checked and the system hasn't switched to battery so I don't know what the cause could be. Everything seems to be working again, though.

I know we can have surges when they're working on lines or during or after storms, but it's not normal for random parts of the house to loose power.

It only does if the system goes off-grid and usually the whole house will be affected. Not one or two outlets.

I have to agree. The surges only affect one item or another. It was like something was slectivly flipping the power switch on the power strips, themselves.

That is strange, No problems here or I would be close to hysterics with my anxiety. I remember in Latvia since the house was two stories my husband made sure the electricity for upstairs was separated from the downstairs, He said in that case if one fails we have the other until we figure out what to do, But you have just one story,

Yeah we do. One meter, too. Could be ghosts, because the surges were more like if one of us unplugged a device or turned on or off a power strip.
