I went across the street to deliver a Christmas card to my neighbor. She was making cookies with her kids, and explained that that evening, her two older girls were going to be in a Christmas program at the elementary school across the street, and I was more than welcome to come. I thought, "Well, it would be something different to do," so I went. It was a little weird for me, as I went to that elementary school from 1975-1981, and it was super different than when I went there. Plus, I kept thinking how much bigger the multi-purpose room, where they had the program, seemed when I was a kid. It was nice to do something a little different than usual, though.
