I have been watching the original series of Dexter the last few nights. But, I felt like something different last night. So, I watched "Holiday Inn". It is a 1942 movie with Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby. The latter buys an inn after the two break up as entertainers. He does well at his holiday inn which is only open on the holidays. Has some romance thrown in and some cute musical numbers. It hadn't been shown on TCM for several years due to the blackface number they do for Lincoln's Birthday segment. It's a cute movie, not the best but I can't find White Christmas on any of the apps. Maybe it is on YouTube.

I have never seen "Holiday Inn' before. I like seeing classic movies that were filmed before I was born myself.

@celticeagle movies during that era of World War II were better since studios did not want to offend movie goers.

@Deepizzaguy ......And they wanted to show a positive side and not the sadness during war.
