The property inspectors came today. It was interesting to see them do their job. They were nicer than the buyer. They actually TALKED to us and introduced themselves to us. The buyer came in..ignored us..followed the owner's son, and never said One Word to us. When they left I went to the bank and my lotto store. Tom made Ham and Cheese Omelletes for supper. I went to some local Facebook pages and posted about having to move. Got about 10 different offers from Realtors and friends of Realtors. I really hate to settle with one Realtor and worry that they won't actually help us find anything since we aren't looking for a $500,000 home or a $2,500 Rental. Anyway, Tom and I are going to go an ride around the area we want to move to and see what we can find. A lot of people do not go with Realtors or Rental Mgt companies. They just put a sign outside the place with a phone #. Thinking about putting an ad in the paper like I did when I was looking for a place before...That is how we got this place. Of course 19 years ago people actually read the paper...not so much now days. Tom has been calling people he knows. A guy we know said he had a rental, but he wanted $2,300 rent. I know taxes and insurance has gone up, but some of these places I am looking at..just aren't worth what they want for rent OR to sell. Anyway, I still have hope, that there IS a place for us. God has never left me without a roof over my head.
