Delicious cones

These cones are made using jack fruit leaves. They are lined with rice paste and filled with cocnot, jaggery to which cardamom powder is added. The stuffing is closed with rice paste and the cones are steamed This delicacy is done atleast once a year. We have jack fruit trees and we get to use the leaves from our own garden.

I've never had that! Can these be bought at the store (as that is what I would have to do)? I didn't know jack fruit leaves were edible.

I knew you would say this The leaves are made into cones just to hold the stuff and they are discarded.

. I guess it is treated in the same way banana leaves are with some Asian foods. I suppose the jack fruit leaves have some kind of taste/fragrance.
