Hey there! Not a whole lot of new and exciting stuff happening on my end, but I wanted to share a little update. We're currently watching season nine of *60 Days In*, and we're already on episode five or six! One of the cast members got sent home, which is interesting. This season, the sheriff said that if anyone uses the emergency signal, they’re out for good. Honestly, I’m glad he got booted—he was pretty whiny and just... not great!
As for food, I’m thinking about whipping up a tuna fish sandwich soon. I still have some chili left, but I don’t know if I’m in the mood for that again since I just had it for lunch, haha.
I’m really hoping I can get some better sleep tonight. I’ve felt super tired since we got home, but I keep pushing it off because I know if I go to sleep too early, I’ll wake up in the middle of the night.
It’s currently in the low forties outside, so it won’t be as cold as we thought, but the next few nights might get pretty chilly. I’ve heard whispers of snow, but I’m doubting we’ll actually see any. I grew up where we got snow a couple of times every winter, so I’m kind of indifferent about it. But I know how much Floridians struggle with it!
Well, that’s enough rambling for now! I’ll probably check in a few more times before I head to bed tonight. Hope you’re having a great day!

I was at Publix earlier today, and I walked by the deli and they had a big pot of chili at the soup bar. It smelled so good. I should have gotten some, because all I've been thinking about today was how much I want some chili. I haven't had any yet this winter season.

@kareng Your poor husband. I have noticed in the past year or so that I also get really bad acid reflux when I eat super spicy foods. That’s been hard for me because I love spicy foods. Hopefully, mild chili won’t be so bad for me.

@moffittjc Yes, I can't fix chili, spaghetti and a few other things for dinner anymore. Those have to go on lunch menu! We are both on prescription medicine for it. I love my hot and spicy food, but I have cut back on it a lot.

When it does snow here it rarely sticks. But, because it's so rare, we don't always know what to do with it. Give us a tornado, gator or hurricane and we're pros.
I don't think those winter storms predicted to hit, are going to hit Florida half as bad. I mean 35 is the lowest I've seen for a low, and I've had winters where we were in the teens at night for a few days.

@thislittlepennyearns Trying, but it is getting old. Need sunshine and warm weather! I'm not used to this and did not sign up for it.

I grew up with snow, so I could care less. LOL. It's 29 here right now. We went and did some walking around the lake yard after dinner and it was about 40 when we were doing that, and it wasn't that bad. But we we're also moving around. Y'all stay warm.
