I have made mistakes and because of that I have lost a few teeth Had I taken care the way I do now. I would have had them all intact.
But I have decided no matter how many teeth I lose subsequently over a period of time I will not go for dentures.
Those with dentures have told me the story of how inconvenient they are

My parents are facing dental problems as well. They are going through RCT(Root Canal Treatment). Its on the costlier side but better than plucking the teeth out. That's what the dentist is saying.

@shaggin yeah our dentist told us it would be good as new for the next 10-15 years minimum. So a good investment it seems.

If I loose my teeth I definitely will go with dentures. It looks better to have fake teeth than no teeth. When you have teeth pulled and don’t wear dentures your whole jawline changes and peoples mouths sink in so the chin is very close to their nose. That seems very uncomfortable and I wonder if it causes more issues like snoring or headaches etc.

My dad had dentures - they were a pain for him. But he was a heavy smoker and rotted his teeth . . . he was not even a candidate for implants. I learned my lesson a decade ago about going to the dentist. Now I make sure to go regularly and take care of my teeth.
