Some Me Time

Today I will work. It being Thursday I am finished work a little earlier than other days.
I like that. 
I have a long awaited hair appointment booked for just after work.
My hair dresser is across town, easily a 30 minute drive on dry roads, hopefully today will not be too much longer given the recent snowfall that we have had. I will text her on my lunch and ask her how the streets are up in her neighbourhood. She lives on a cul d'sac and those are the last to be plowed. I may have to park on the street leading to hers and walk. I will ask her.
I am looking forward to some 'me' time today having her do my hair.

@LadyDuck My favorite hairdresser, who did my hair on the day I got married, stopped doing hair when her husband passed away suddenly about 20 years ago. My heart broke for her, but she had to grieve and then deal with the business that he owned and had to stop doing what she loved to do.

@snowy22315 I was just trying to keep up with the other vehicles, and there are never any traffic cops around.

Hope the roads are clear and you can get to your appointment. Getting a hair cut is a good way to pamper yourself

I had to peel it over there, but it was worth it and now I am all groomed and relaxed.
I cannot complain I let it go a really long time since my last cut, but I know that hair dressers are so busy in December, but hardly do anyone in January, and that has to be difficult on the budget, which is why I put this off for so long. She was thankful for my consideration.

@Juliaacv I'm sure you feel like a million bucks with your new hair cut. I've done the same thing many times by waiting until I was overdo. I'm sure your stylist appreciated making money today.

I am also due for a haircut. I will take an appointment for haircut and pedicure once my elder one leaves for college next weekend.
Thursday is a short working day at my end too. I love it

Seems like you had some fun time. Well, I had some urgent work and well few errands also sprang up which completely caught me in surprise. Worked on those and well need to work on things. There are still a pile of things and I am yet to work on them and clear things. Hope I can i use the friday to clear those. I also watched a few things on tv and have some 'me' time. Perhaps thats the only me time possible for me now. Hope you would have some fun time today. Well , have a wonderful day ahead!
