Today's Plans

I have one plan for today: get my hair done. I'm leaving in a few minutes to do just that. However, my day is more than getting my hair done. I watched President Jimmy Carter's funeral this morning. The eulogies by his grandsons were moving. He had an amazing life of service to God, his wife, his family, and this country. When I leave here in a few minutes, I'll also be going to Hy-Vee to pick up two things I need that didn't even get a thought when I went there on Tuesday - rice and dish soap. So, I'll get those. I should be back by three easily. It's 1:38 right now and my appointment is at 2:15. I'll try to work on a book when I get home and catch up with notifications. We'll see how it all works out. Jimmy Carter had an amazing life. He was a horrible president, but a very good man with a great heart. His legacy beyond his presidency is what he will always be remembered for.

@just4him He was responsible for some of the highest inflation we have ever seen (barring Biden of course who had much worse inflation). He was responsible for the energy crisis. We had the Iran hostage crisis. Before Biden took over the position, Carter was regarded as one of the worst presidents in history.

We went to McComb and ran some errands, after running 2 here in our little town. Tomorrow is a rain day, so I wanted to get all of that out of the way. Looks like we may be going back to McComb tomorrow though anyway. Oh well.
