Well, I guess I woke up today with a different mind set. I try to tolerate people. Let them be who they are and realize that it takes all kinds to make up the world and everyone has their own opinion, their right to it. But, this one particular person continues to be harsh and abrasive. I had another person like her actually apologize and she is still a part of our little group. I had hoped this person would do the same but I was mistaken. I had another person message me today asking if she was always so nasty. It is rather sad but I just blocked this harsh person and another one that I have had enough of. I have only blocked one other person in all the years I have been on here. I really do try to be tolerant and I understand that not all people are going to agree with me. And some just agree with whoever is writing the post and whatever their views are. They go the easy route.
So, I hope they both find their way and have a good experience on Mylot. They just won't be interacting with me any longer.

Well, since I can still respond to you, I know it's not ME you've blocked.

@celticeagle This site reminds me of a friendly online penpal circle. I don't like having to tiptoe around people. Either you are friendly or you're not. I'm glad to have you as my friend.

I do not blame you since one person who makes mean statements like I am stupid for not keeping up to date with fictional superheroes being friends with their fellow heroes on their groups makes me less than my hater.

I've come close a few times but have never blocked anyone. There are a couple here that will be blocked if they continue as they are. Have a good weekend.

I was getting close to doing it when a couple of fellow members messaged me about it. I realized I had given her enough time to change her ways and it hadn't happened. So bye bye. I've only blocked one other person in 17 years.

I think I know who that was. I haven't blocked, but I care not to communicate with that person. Even with the littlest stuff, that person says things in the most irritating way - is that necessary? It's a turn off. And I know that person doesn't care . . . that's ok, because the feeling is mutual. You do what you need to do

I don't think anyone should have to put up with these types. I thought this person might change and I was hopeful that she would lighten up, but she didn't. So now she's gone.
