Cold Wet Mess

Happy Friday to all. We are having heavy cold rain and sleet. No snow just a few flurries and possibly more flurries this afternoon. It is dark snd gloomy. On a bright note the winds have died down and our power has stayed on. This afternoon the weather is supposed to clear up. I hope that you all are doing well and have a good day.

I hope you get some sunshine and the snow and ice melt off quickly.
I just looked out the front door and it's still snowing here. I'm glad we've already done the shopping for two weeks and shouldn't need to get out in the cold and nastiness. We have 6 or 7 inches of snow on the ground now.

@Tampa_girl7 The roads look clear now but I'm not shoveling our driveway. Mother Nature will clean that up for me soon enough.
We're staying in the house until something forces us out in the cold. Thanks.

@DaddyEvil I have stayed inside too. My husband had to go to work, but he said the roads weren’t bad.

@Tampa_girl7 I am glad that it is pretty today.
This morning it was just lovely here.
There was just enough clouds in the sky, and cold clouds, that the sunrise was spectacular, and everything seemed so hushed from the little dusting of snow on top of the existing snow that we have.

Oh such a weather can be so tough to handle.
Plus all clouds and darkness can be so gloomy.
Here, we had sunshine for 2 to 3 hours but a lot of dense fog till 10 AM in the morning.

I am not fond of ice or sleet, but I enjoy snow. I am sorry you are getting some.
