I was 'pretty sure' we'd enjoy Bookworm

One of the films we watched at the recent film festival as ‘Bookworm’. Like another New Zealand film ‘Hunt for the Wilder People’, this was set in NZ with full use made of amazing scenery.
It involved a young girl and her biological father with whom she’d previously had no contact. They go camping to try to get proof of the existence of the ‘Canterbury panther’.
The New Zealanders make some great movies and are adept at making fun of themselves while they do it. They must really enjoy making some of their movies. At the end of the film, along with the credits and obligatory ‘no animals were harmed’, etc, up came a notice saying the NZ Department of Conservation were ‘pretty sure’ there was no Canterbury panther. We cracked up when we read the ‘pretty sure’ bit.
The photo of the lion was taken at Monaro Zoo, South Australia.

Wow! I can watch one full length movie in a day but don't want to watch another for a day or two after that.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed them.

And here. while we watch on YouTube, Disney+HotStar (Disney's tie up with Star Network in India) and Amazon Prime Video, I withdrew from Netflix as we had not actively used it for almost 3-4 months.
If needed, I will renew it later on.

Sounds like a fun movie. It would have been amazing if they had proved it was real
