Just another day in paradise

Minus 15 degrees celcius this morning, so I put on my wooly leggings, then my wool legwarmers over that. Then a long wool sweater over my favorite bulky sweater. Then it was the flannel 'ski mask', topped with a felt fedora that has an attached kerchief that I tied under my chin. Lastly, on went my parka, isotoner gloves and fuzzy gloves over the gloves. Then I headed out to the Centre. The way there was mostly clear and I didn't have to wait for someone to open the door for me as someone was just going out. I managed to carry my walker most of the way up the stairs by myself, though someone came and took it the last two steps and scolded me for not asking for help. After lunch, I waited for an hour then went to my dental appointment. By that time it had started to snow again. It was at a place about 3/4 of the way home, and got there looking a bit like a snowperson. An hour and a half later, it was still snowing and the going was getting rough... How rough was it, you might ask... It was so rough that I fell ass over walker when I turned down to the side street that would lead me home. Luckily, a woman stopped her car and helped me get up and on my way. My glasses got a little skewed but other than that, I don't seem to have broken anything. I think I need skis for my walker.
