Finally a Sure Sign of Spring!

You all know I have been not so patiently awaiting the arrival of Spring! Today when I was outside and doing chicken chores, I noticed that the wild daffodils were starting to spring up. I had been watching for them since they usually appear in February.
Mine are yellow and I'll be waiting for those pretty blooms in March or April! There is usually a big one that pops up behind our mailbox, which is across the street, but no signs of it yet. It may have been dug up with construction work with clearing the power line area. I hope not!
Do you have wild daffodils growing in your area or other wild flowers? And are they starting to show signs of life again?
Note: I will add the photo as soon as it gets edited.

Some years a few things will bravely appear, often to get either nipped by frost or just frozen solid. It’s only the first week of February, winter here is far from over. I try not to count on early flowers as I have been disappointed too many times in the past. But that’s ok…there will still be flowers.

@MarieCoyle I believe it! Winter lasts much longer over that way, but still odd--just like the snow here in April!! Montana is beautiful. I regret not taking a trip to visit my cousin when he lived there!

Looking at the security camera, the grass is still brown, but at least it’s now visible after two weeks of being under sn*w.

Yes, when we first moved here, they were all over the place and in every cow pasture you passed, but none in my yard. I finally had this one pop up over in the power line right away across the street behind our mailbox, and went and dug it up and transferred to my yard! I am hoping we see it multiply!
