Holy Cow! It's Pouring Outside.

You know the saying, "When it Rains, It Pours?" That is just what we are getting today! It rained during the night pretty hard and this morning when I woke up there was light rain.
The rain cleared up around noon, but there was more in the forecast for this afternoon. More thunderstorms. And did they mean thunderstorms.
We ran to McComb mid day to pick some things up my husband needed. My immediate reaction was "Why didn't you get these things Monday while we were there?" I just went with the flow though to get out of the house.
We came home to thunder in the distance and then the rain came pouring down. I also had a note from @FourWalls that my area was under a tornado warning and she was checking up on us. We are fine! And it turned out to be just a tornado watch. However, the rumbles were pretty scary!

You told me that you had alot of rain, it sounds like you were out in the worst of it all.

It was cold and misting rain most of the day. Glad you’re okay, and the tornado warnings were east of you.
BTW, you have a level 3 severe risk again on Saturday.

Today just a slight rain here, thank goodness. Who knows what tomorrow brings. At first we had a warning out for bad weather and storms. Now it has shifted to 99% over night. I guess I won't be sleeping tomorrow night and 24% during day. So tired of all this! Oh and back in the teens and low 20's next week as well. Not right for us down here!!

We didn't get any rain till late in the night & it
wasn't really enough to call it rain just a little drizzle
but what little we got with the cold it's freezing it.

We have the same weather, we are really getting it, last night and all day today. We had a tornando watch this evening. Stay dry.

We’ve had very little rain of late. It’s been very cold and cloudy, but not much in the way of rain. Last night we did get some and it was quite wintry, but dry, cold and miserable again this morning. Very much like me!
