Naaki our pet dog - a memory

While we were living in the city Nimmi the stray lived in our garden. We had our own dog inside but we took care of this one and fed her. She only came to sleep and eat. She had puppies that were given away to animal lovers. One of them Pulu stayed in the garden and she produce puppies which were once again given away and we retained one. We named her Naaki We brought Naaki to Solitaire along with Rana the Bull Terrier. Naaki grew to be a pretty dog, very loving, affectionate and she too produced puppies probably befriending a neighbour's dog Naaki had more fur than others and also a bushy tail. Her babies were given away and we retained two from the two litters she had The maid loved to bathe Naaki as she was very obedient and loved to be bathed She looked beautiful after a bath. She lived to be sixteen.
