And I did not cut it to eat a piece.
Lately, the only thing that really makes me happy is to eat something delicious. But today, when María is coming, I decided to be a lady and did not cut the cake.
I did eat some of the salami though. There are limits in being an angel.
The chicken is simmering and in a second I´ll go to fry some mushrooms in butter. Then I´ll add cream and check if it need more salt or some milk.
I will not use pepper. María is over 80 years old and my tummy, too, is feeling age.

I would have had a slice of cake. Maria won't care if you have a piece before she gets there.

I know María would not care. But then, I ate some small buns with salami. And the whole cake looks awesome.

From what I read; it seems to be a delicious meal in the making. Holding back on the cake is perhaps a noble effort. But then we cannot be angel all the time, so having the salami is all fine. It has happened to me as well. I was noble when it came to a few items for a guest , but then one of the items was my favourite. Could not be angel for that item. We get hungry when we have delicious items near us. Either the look or the aroma should get our cravings run wild. It is natural for all of us. Hope you both had a great time together.
