For a long time on Bing, I'd given up on the midweek puzzle, which consists of eight squares you have to put together. A few times I solved it by "accident," but then I did some research and tried it out, and it still takes several maneuvers but works like a charm and makes it more fun to actually try to solve them.
Basically, you get squares 1, 2 and 3 in place, and then you leave them alone. Then below the 1 you work on getting square 7 under square 1, and square 4 under square 2. Then you simply work the other squares counterclockwise until you've got all the squares where they need to be and voila!
Puzzle solved.
Do you ever do the Bing puzzles?

I always solve the puzzles but it take many moves to do so. Sometimes way too many lol. And on occasion it’s quick.

I have been loving the bing mid-week puzzle for the last 2 years. It is one of the things I look forward to , while using bing apart from the bing points. Here in India , it usually comes on Monday and Thursday. Initially I did struggle with quitting a few times. You do get bing points for attempting the puzzle. However , one day I figured it out. The whole idea is getting 1-2-3 squares at top. Then set the 4th and 7th square making sure 5 and 6 are together. Then it is easy to close.Atleast the idea is working for me and it has been an year plus that I am consistently winning that puzzle quickly. These days I close the puzzle in less than 40 moves. Glad you too enjoy the puzzle. Enjoy the time!

but good for you. I'm better with word puzzles.
