I'm Thinking Pizza Rolls

Maybe we are getting a bit lazy when it comes to dinner options? I still cook a lot. But we do occasionally have something on hand that is quick and easy for a midweek, "I don't feel like cooking" day.
Be it an On-Cor meal or chicken nuggets or something along those lines.
We are even keeping some Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese croissanwiches around just for something simple and easy in the mornings.
I am thinking about getting some pizza rolls very soon. I always liked them, and we have not had them in YEARS. I mean, are they healthy? Not hardly. But are they good?
So far as I can remember? Yes.
So, on my next shopping trip I plan to get some to make for a quick and easy dinner with some select sides. Do you like pizza rolls? When is the last time you had some?

You pick good over healthy ?
You know everything that's good
isn't healthy, why not start eating
healthy instead of eating what's
good, that would be better.
You know the older you get the
worse your health gets right ?

@porwest If You took the time to learn as much as I
have about health you might educate others like you
do about $ Which would be a Big help.

@porwest Yes it does! We both have acid reflux here and I'm able to tolerate most foods better than my hubby. I don't have a problem with pizza, but chili and spaghetti sauce are both a no go for me unless at lunch time and I have not forgotten my prescription medicine.

I have the triple meat pizza rolls in my freezer. I think I ate some for lunch last week, maybe... I don't eat them very often, though.

Yeah, for about 5 minutes to keep from burning the roof of your mouth when you bite into one of them.

You are finding a perfect balance between cooking and easy, go to meals on hand on days you do not want to cook. I totally get the appeal of having things like chicken nuggets or On-Cor meals for those busy midweek moments. The Jimmy Dean croissanwiches are a good idea for quick breakfasts as week. Pizza rolls are a nostalgic comfort food. I can definitely see why you are craving for them again. As for their healthiness, they are not exactly a nutrition packed option. Sometimes it just nice to indulge in something easy and familiar. It has been a while since I had pizza rolls. But then I loved them. Some side sounds like a perfect combo, no fuss dinner ideas as well. Hope you enjoy them when you make your next shopping trip done!

The thing is that when you cook every day, and of course I am the cook in the house, you do need an occasional break and these "b'tweeners," as I sometimes call them can be very helpful in still getting something that tastes good and at least still fills the bill, but also provides a little break from the monotony EVEN IF one generally still enjoys cooking.
