Here in the south we call the meals breakfast, dinner, and supper. Our dinner is usually around 2pm, then a snack later in the evening.
I cooked a yummy beef (not venison!) stew with potatoes, carrots, celery, bay leaves, onion powder, and salt and pepper.
It was soo good...we have enough for dinner tomorrow. I also made an elbow pasta salad (gluten free), and fried some corn bread.
What did you have today? Something that was unusually yummy?

For us it's breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For lunch it's usually a bit light for me. For dinner I made taco salad bowls from the forms we have that turn soft flour tortillas into crunchy bowls. Had hamburger meat with taco seasoning, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheese, salsa and sour cream. Yummy. Dinner is always our biggest meal of the day.

@1creekgirl Yes, I guess so. For us, 'supper' would be tea/coffee and a snack before you go to bed at night or after the movies or a concert, etc.

How do you cook spinach? I like it raw in a salad, although I can't eat it now, but not cooked.

@1creekgirl I order groceries only once a month so my spinach is canned like Popeye's was. I sautee in salted butter with minced garlic,
