Buffy Reboot Coming Along Quickly

In an interview for PEOPLE recently Sarah Michelle Gellar says that things are progressing faster than she had anticipated in the new reboot. Gellar, now 47, is surprised by the status. Buffy first visited Sunnydale, California in 1997 and Gellar is now about to reprise her role as Buffy Summers again. The series, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer TV series ran on WB from March 1997 until May 2003. The next chapter in the Buffyverse is being developed by Hulu. It is going to focus on a new slayer with Buffy Summers in a supporting role. The series is being written by Nora and Lilla Zuckerman with Gail Berman and Dolly Parton involved as executive producers. Sarah Michelle Gellar has stated that she wouldn't be a part of the reboot unless she was sure they would do it right. I am pretty excited to see what they do with the story. I was pretty disappointed in the reboot of Charmed that was done a few years ago so will be anxious to see what these writers do with Buffy. I am a big fan of vamp shows. About the only one I wasn't a fan of on TV was Vampire Diaries. I saw several episodes and just never was interested. Do you like the vamp genre? What are some favorites of yours?
