Apathy is so easy. Just don't think about it and it will go away. That seems to be how many Americans have chosen to handle this horror we face in America today. I can't describe how happy I am to see the thousands of people out in the streets of their cities in peaceful rallies around the country. If I were able I'd be right out there beside them. Last night I listened to a whistleblower standing up against the crookedness taking place in government today. I wish Trump cared enough to see that what he is doing is against what the people, his constituents, want. But he doesn't. Doesn't see. Doesn't care. 80 million people chose not to vote in the 2024 election and look what we got. Trump won with over 77,000,000 votes. Now his authoritarian ways are taking over what used to be a democratic society. He has systematically made our once strong and proud country into a laughing stock around the world. Other countries are warning travelers not to come here because Trump's cohorts could kidnap them off the street for no reason. When people actually take Trump to court over his lawlessness they win. But many individuals and companies are not doing that. They just crumble and let him have his way. Those people are pathetic and weak. Those people will be shamed and the companies will lose respect and business because of it. We are in a constitutional crisis. Our fundamental rights are being taken away. We are being kept busy by some bizarre thing Musk is doing or some MAGA idiot while Trump does more harm to our country. He is like a carnival magician, keeping our eyes busy in one area while he does his dismantling in another. Soon nothing will be left. What can the justice system really do? It's all such a horror. I can't believe it people actually voted someone like him into office. And, he may get a third term. As you store up those items that you use the most and you will soon be unable to get(not all his fault by the way) think about what is happening to our way of life. Karma is a strict reconner. She will take care of him in the long run but, what of our country? What of Democracy? Our rights? The states with minerals under them will become trash heaps. Anyone who speaks out against him could end up behind bars. And the man who said, "Hitler should have finished the job." What about him? Enjoy what there is left while you can. And those who voted for him or chose not to are you still happy with your decision? The picture is from my collection.

I'm sure many Republicans are regretting their votes. BTW, you have Trump winning by 77 billion votes. :-)
