On 06.05.2025 there was a worldwide commemoration of the World Asthma Day. I didn’t know that or perhaps I had forgotten. One of our radio stations is what made me aware of it as they had a guest in their morning show who was enlightening listeners about the sickness. What scared me is that out of the 52 million population of my country, between 4.5 and 5.5 million are asthmatic. In our family there haven’t been cases lately; the last one was my step-mother. She however separated with dad in 1997 due to stigma as she was childless. Is World Asthma Day recognized or commemorated in your country? How do they do it?

At least you are now aware. Asthma is a very serious disease but luckily, it can be controlled using appropriate medication.

I hope you also begin recognizing it over there in Australia. It is a good way of finding solutions for asthmatic related problems.
