I noticed that this morning and I was just like WTF. She claims to have only $2000 in monthly income which is not great when her rent is $1530. Add cell phone, car insurance, groceries, utilities, gas, etc. . . and yeah she can't pay everything. Her car was paid off. I saw her today and she said that the car SHE OWNED needed like $3000 worth of repairs that she couldn't pay for. . . so she leased a new car that will now cost her $400 per month for 3 years. I'm no financial expert but that just seems insane. She literally complains every time I see her that she doesn't have money. Maybe just sell the car you own for an older used car then? Sometimes I don't understand what goes through her mind.

Puzzling when the solution to money woes is to just go further in debt.

Some people don't know how to manage their money. I know I can exist from month to month. As sad as it is it is now easier with no pets but that is the only consideration about money I would make if I wanted another pet,. I can afford what I can and there are no extras,

Some people just lie about their finances to extract money.

Some people are simply foolish, and they don't stop to think about anything but instant gratification--not how they are going to pay for things. Maybe when she can't pay her rent, she can live in her car....sad, but it could happen. She has to have more than $2000 per month, if the car and the rent total $1930. I mean....car insurance and gas, other utilities, food...that's nuts.

She said she got $12000 but her credit is so busted that she now has to pay $400/month for 3 years for this new car. I would have just paid for the repairs.

@NJChicaa Four hundred a month for 36 months isnt that much for a new car unless after the 3.years.she has the option to make a final payment and own it. Unless new cars are cheap there

@Ineeddentures I paid $475/month with no down payment and owned my go-kart after 5 years. Her decision seems crazy to me.

In fact some people are not rich, but they tend to pretend that they have money. So it's easier for them to earn money, such as the businessmen. But obviously the case you talked about is not like that. Probably this can explain why she can't have money.
