Looking for a new hobby

Luckily it is not my dominant arm that's broken. I slipped in my kitchen at home a few weeks ago ....glided across the floor...and hit the work surface as i went down, falling in a heap ! It is still very painful and they are still talking about surgery being an option. I am back at the hospital tomorrow. I do alot of puzzles but am finding that keeping the books flat is tricky.I am doing them from masgazines at the moment. Same with colouring, and taking the lids off is fiddly, I have dropped them on the floor a few times and can't bend to pick them up.

@Traceyjayne I love paint by number personally, or maybe photography. Yikes, I hope you don't need surgery. That might prolong your recovery. I broke each of my wrists in my younger days, but not at the same time, and they were very painful. I can't imagine having a broken arm..

@snowy22315 I would worry about knocking over the paints and not being able to clean up the mess. I struggle to take photos with my phone at the moment....I only have small hands. For now i think i will stick with puzzles and send for a diamond art kit and see how i get on with that. Still thinking of the new hobbies though. I am going to be at home for a long time yet I think.
