So one of the big supermarkets are doing a promotion at the moment where you get a token for every £10 that you spend. When you have collected a certain number of tokens you can exchange them for a free item.
The items currently available with this promotion are Pyrex dishes, some round and some oblong.
We have another week to collect and then must use our tokens ..
At the moment I will be able to get several of these items.....looking forward to choosing them.
I am aware some people may spend more just to get the freebies ....but I don't..

Hiya
I am a true skinflint Scotsman and had no idea about this so can I ask which supermarket it is.

This campaign saving for pyrex dishes was by Morrisons but it is ending this week so you missed it this time. I will post again when a store has similar campaigns on. If you are intertested in scanning shopping receipts to earn to get frebbies I can message you privately as I don't think they will allow the info on here.

Mom used to save up tickets/stamps to get freebies from the grocery store. I'd give my tickets/stamps to her so she could save up faster. That kind of thing stopped when I was in my twenties, I think...
You're lucky anyone gives anything for free anymore.

Oh I do love a freebie. I use several shopping and receipt apps which in turn get me freebies.

@Traceyjayne My daughter always runs our receipts through different apps on her phone to get money back on the groceries we normally buy. Once in a while she'll tell me I'm eating something different so we can get money back, which I think is silly. If she doesn't know if I'll like it, there isn't any reason to buy it.

@DaddyEvil You do have to be careful. There is no point buying something just to get money off if you are not sure if you are going to like it.
I do sometimes get free food with my apps....i don't mind if its free.
I usually get shopping with money off or just cashback or vouchers from the receipts i scan. It is well worth doing if you know how to do it right.
