'Confusion' Update

So yesterday I posted about trying to figure out the Housing portal. Now there are two on the website. The old one and the new one. I get nervous when I foul up, and then I can't think straight. I left it and went back to it today. The problem was that I had signed into both the old and the new with the same password. Silly, but I wanted that password so my daughter could remember it. My grandson tried to help me, but he, as were you guys, was confused.
Today I explained my dilemma to him. He had a straightforward way to fix it. I just changed my old password in the first/old portal and was able to use the password I had originally in the new portal. I will test if this works when I go to pay my July rent.
Fingers are crossed.

I hope that works but I'd be worried that changing the password in the old portal also changes it in the new portal. Only time will tell.
