This dead stump of the areca nut tree was carefully removed by the gardener with a clump of soil. It was treated with laquer. It is three years now and it looks as good as new. I place something fresh in the hollow where I have placed a container with water. This piece of artifact does add class to Solitaire. Simple yet exotic.

What a beautiful and creative way to repurpose the areca nut stump! You’ve really turned it into something unique and elegant. I love how you preserved its natural beauty with lacquer and gave it new life with fresh elements and water. It’s such a thoughtful touch—simple, yes, but truly exotic and full of character.

Thank you. What I am happy about is that nothing has happened to it.

It looks very nice. What a good idea it was to turn the stump into a vase.
