Apparently, no single country in the world has not felt a pinch as a result of climate change. From floods to droughts, to temperature extremes, every continent has stories around climate change. Unfortunately, governments are too busy to involve counter measures. Some are at war, emitting even worse components into the atmosphere. Here in Kenya for instance, forest cover is declining at an alarming rate! People have begun shunning electric vehicle claiming recharge consumes too much of “the” time. It is ironical to see a person spend 5 hours clubbing but finds it impossible to spend some 45 minutes recharging his motorbike! Our behaviour as humans is to blame for the increasing effects of climate change.

We have had extremes of climate in our east with massive floods. It is certainly affecting everyone.

Yes in the hands of the government to take measures that are in the best interest of the citizens. We have gone so far down in the name of development that we are now forced to take emergency measures to control the situation again.
There are some NGOs and inspired individuals who do their bit to improve the situation. But I at times feel that the impact should be on a bit higher level. NGOs and some individuals do contribute. But they can't use laws like the government can. So the efforts take time to reflect.
