My 5 year cousin has severe speaking problems...what sould i do?help

He is 5 years old and he is barely able to speak a few words.Me and my relatives have made all possible ways to help him.We went to a specialist doctor since he was 3 years.We knew that not all children are able to speak until they are at least 3 years old.So that was the ideea we have followed.But as the time passed he became angry and cried a lot when he tried showing something and his gestures could not be understood.All medics said that we should not be afraid of anything (that his problems are not severe-first we thought of an autism problems which was the worst-Thanks God that he is not in a clinical searching for this kind of problem)-I hope some of you can ofer us some solutions.thank you in advance.
