No internet for 3 days, Sigh!

Since Wednesday afternoon up to Friday dawn, no internet at home. I went to the internet provider's office to complain about the disappearance of the internet. I was told to switch to fiber and must replace the modem, which I agreed to and paid the total cost. The office said they would be at home in the afternoon of Thursday to solve the problem, but no technician came to our house. I waited for them yesterday morning, but no one came, so I went back to their office and quarreled with them. They sent a technician in the afternoon, only to be told that my home is far from the post where the fiber wirings are located.
Early this morning, the internet at home was functioning. I will go back there on Monday to get my money back and quarrel with them again. I am really mad at this internet provider, lazy..Hoping the owner will know the laziness of his staff.
Thank you for reading, sharing is caring.

@May2k8 , the issue was, they required me to change the modem and switch to fiber, which I agreed to, only to know that the distance from my home to the fiber post is 600 meters away, so it wasn't switched to fiber. The technician just fixed the modem.

We seldom loss connection of our Internet. I'm using PLDT Fiber and the speed is excellent. We only have no Internet when there's a brownout.

@Nakitakona , our internet provider at home is PARASAT. I was glad it would be switched to fiber, but the location is far from home, to the post where the fiber is available.

@Nakitakona yes the technician called me. It might happen if I will pay the fiber wirings good for 600 meters distance from home to the post where the fiber wirings are in the post.

I might not last a day without internet connection hihihi...
That's why aside from our connection at home, I also have other options once the other one malfunctions.

@brokenbee, I have Globe WiFi and Globe Homeplus but I'm wondering why they can't anymore connect to my laptop and phone after their sim cards were registered. I kept on claiming to Globe, but the problem remained the same.

That must be annoying. Sorry that you had to go through all that. Happy that it's back and working well. Hope that it continues to work. It might be the bad weather. You deserve to get your money back.

@arunima25, it's a 24 /7 unlmited plan. I pay its bill monthly. It's indeed annoying, 3 days seems brutal he he.

Oh, that's the problem with having a sale that only focuses on sales and technical departments that don't keep up with sales, so they can't offer services in areas that aren't yet covered by their fiber. So you won't be persuaded to switch only to be disappointed when it can't be done at your location.
