Mint choc chip ice cream for pudding tonight

I posted earlier that we had Piri piri spatchcock chicken and fries for tea. After a short rest we decided it was time for pudding….not something we have every day but we wanted to treat ourselves as it’s the weekend. We decided on ice cream, but then we had to decide which flavour to have. No question really ….we both love mint choc chip so that was an easy decision. We got Tesco own brand today ….yep, it was good. What’s your favourite pudding ?

We always have ice-cream in the fridge. Probably tinned peaches and ice-cream is our favourite dessert.

Me too I like to stock them up. These days I cannot stand tinned peaches. They seems to be sweeter as the years goes by.

If I'm buying ice cream, I either want French vanilla or I want Salted Caramel ice cream... We don't buy it often but when we do, we buy a half gallon carton. I get one bowl of it and Pretty eats the rest. (She says I eat it too slow. I just don't sit there with the entire carton open, shoveling it into my mouth until it's gone. )

@Traceyjayne I like chocolate candy but really don't want anything else with chocolate in it. Pretty buys herself chocolate ice cream all the time. (There is no flavor of ice cream that Pretty won't eat. )

Those are the two flavours we have. Lidl do an amazing salted Caramel.

@DaddyEvil I love anything with chocolate in the name . If it’s just me I would probably choose chocolate ice cream but I’m the only one who likes it , so I often have what we all like.

Not many puddings here, but ube-(sweet yam) flavored ice cream is the best for me.

@traceyjayne Apple or rhubarb crumble with ice cream, panna cotta, crème brûlée, clootie dumpling, jam roly poly with custard, apple tart with custard, clafoutis …. Any or all of the above.
