Have not seen hide nor hair

Pedro demanded to go outside this morning and we have not seen hide nor hair of him since then.
He stayed inside all night, which was good because we had huge thunderstorms. They kept me awake.
Periodically he would yowl in the night, like he did not like being inside or something. Or he was lonely. I got up and visited with him from 3 to 3:30.
He may or may not come back at supper time, but I did not make a vet appointment for him since I do not know if he will be back.
So this is my ongoing story of Pedro, the maybe my cat.

Is there any chance at all that he might be visiting other people near you
All the cats that we see have other homes.
Yet they still visit us and stay sometines

We have one cat, Colbert who wants to be outside. My daughter makes him stay in sometimes to feed him and fix any ouchies he has gotten. The other four go out and come back after doing their thing. But, he always comes back.

You only have to worry if he comes back wearing jewelry that gives his home address elsewhere.

He will be back. Cats decide for themselves. Probably he is in search of a mate

You may have pegged him as a wanderer correctly... Sometimes a can chooses more than one home and likes variety in their humans.
If he comes back and decides to make you his forever home, then worry about getting him a vet appointment. You can always entice him into a cage until you can get him fixed and let him do what he wants after that's taken care of.
Good luck either way with him. Pedro the Wanderer sounds like a good name and description, too.

I am sure that Pedro will come back home soon since cats like to be home after spending time outside.
