Busy day …. Now for a curry …. / myLot

We managed to get Moms shower unit exchanged. We had actually had it longer than we thought but we told them we had called a plumber out and he said the thermostat was faulty and they exchanged it straight away. That was true. We stopped for a burger and a hot dog…..ran a few more errands …we are looking for a doorbell with a camera for Mom so she can see who is at the door before she opens it. The one she has at the moment has broken. We have just ordered a takeaway …we went for curry this week. What have you been up to today and what will you have for your meal ?

I'm still watching YT videos... I just ate some pasta with ground beef. I've never eaten curry... A friend suggested curry for lunch once but, after I smelled it cooking, I didn't want it.

Yes, the smell is sometimes a bit off putting. The takeaway we use is amazing though. I have chicken tikka masala …mild …and The Mister has just a chicken curry , we have pilau rice and a naan bread. Not very adventurous but it’s what we like ….

@Traceyjayne I've had naan bread. It's good. Once in a while, Pretty will take a stab at making Indian foods. Most of it we like but we do add meat to it. vanny said we were ruining it.

(We also back off on some of the spices. I can't eat hot spices. They upset my stomach and burn when I go to the bathroom.

@DaddyEvil we are the same with hot spices ….we stay away from them. Our neighbours are Indian and The Mister has done a few jobs for them ….the husband can’t really do much ….and they sometimes give him some cider as a thank you . He is grateful but would really like some ‘ real ‘ Indian food instead …..ah well, never mind !
