We had a rambling white rose in our garden when we were living in the city It was robust and healthy with loads of white roses. We asked my husband's brother to keep house when we had gone on holiday When we returned we did not see the creeper and on questioning he told us he cut it down as he saw a snake crawling That was really not necessary He could have driven the sake away. It did thrive but never yielded the way it did It was a frustrating experience
