Phone Call From Housing...

OMG! Last night about 6 or 7p. a lady from Housing called. Our recertification paperwork had not reached them. It had been sent out by mail here about two weeks ago. So, they over-nighted another copy of it and I am going to go get it done and ready to be get back to them. I called the post office to see if there wasn't enough postage on it would they have sent it back to us or just chucked it. Never could get to talk to anyone there so I may never know. I will have my daughter take it in to the office by hand delivery tomorrow. I can't believe that in the over 20 years we have been doing this paperwork that this one year it doesn't get to them. Weird.

Wow that must have really thrown you for a loop thinking they had received it and everything was okay. Glad they were able to overnight another copy and that your daughter will deliver it. The Post Office really has been falling down on the job lately.

Yes, it did that for sure. Then to get the call was very disconcerting. Housing is my biggest cause for anxiety and each year we go through the inspections, and they have gotten easier on me but are still a rather anxiety ridden time.
