I need a new system …. For my apps and freebies / bargains

So, as a few of you may be aware I use a lot of apps for saving money and getting freebies.
I guess that it started out as a bit of a hobby, but it has turned out to be a way of life.
I know that over the last decade or so I have saved thousands of pounds.
I have tried several different ways of recording my efforts.
Now I find that I need to update my system as so many apps have bitten the dust and a few more have started up.
However, what I am finding tricky ….although, not impossible …is HOW to record all these things ….
Any advice …..?

I just have a piece of paper that I keep a list on. You could use multi-column bookkeeping sheets if you wanted to.

Yes, that’s how I do it at the moment. It works well, but with so many apps changing I am just hoping to find maybe another way ….just to keep things fresh and up to date.
On the other hand. If it works …..maybe just stick to it….

@Traceyjayne You could make a spreadsheet in Excel. It would automatically give you a total too; and you could change it when needed.

It might help us help you if we knew why you were recording these efforts. You don't pay taxes on money you save, nor on freebies you get. Is this for bragging rights to show your hubby?
If this helps you any, I record things I need to remember, for whatever reason on an app on my phone. I write down upcoming appointments on the app and set an alarm so I don't forget anything. Of course, you wouldn't need to set an alarm but you can keep track of things. Just write the name of each app you use in the notebook app and beneath that, record the amount you saved or the freebie you received this time with the date. Next time you save money or get a freebie from that app, record the new savings amount with the date or the freebie under the correct app name.

Ha ha ….no it’s not for bragging.
I just like to keep a record to see what I have got for free or what I have saved money wise
It helps to see which apps are worth the time and which I should be getting a second account for ….
I do have physical sheets of paper with charts on for each app so I can write everything down……i much prefer paper copies as I have so many I find it easier to record and check.
I am quite organised about it all ….
Just wondering how others record things …..mine is for apps but it could apply to other things ….

@Traceyjayne As I've told people before, we don't have room here for extra stuff. I record everything on apps on my phone because my phone won't take up more room even if I fill all the memory up with stuff.
I actually need to plug my phone into my laptop and wipe part of the memory on the phone itself as well as on the SD card in the phone. A lot of it is junk I'll never need again because it's stuff I recorded at work and I've been gone from there since January 2021.

I guess you should just choose the ones you are most comfortable with
