Prioritizing short term gains and economic growth isn't reason that irritates himalayas? Why to extend eye till himalayas.Can't we love and enjoy the way they are? Deforestation and infrastructure development like roads, drainages destabilizes the mountains, making more susceptible to landslides and flash floods. We cannot live there then why to destroy them for tourism.There is a potential future threat to INDIA also.
Goverment is inactive in protecting ecology.
May the Lord see after the people of Uttarakhand during this hardship

The Supreme Court has woken up and is questioning all States where they have experiencd cloud bursts. This it is assumed because of cutting down forests and raising concrete jungles.

Supreme will question only after the incident ..Questions and leaves right after hearing the answer.
