Dolls and Ventriloquist Dummies

I think movies with dolls and ventriloquist dummies are creepy. Evil and crazy. There have been several: Devil Doll (1932, 1964) Dead of Night (1945) Magic (1978) Dead Silence (2007) Chucky franchise No jump scares needed. Just those weird wooden faces. Dummies that move on their own. The older black and white films are even creepier, I think. Jim Dunham's dummies are pretty toned down compared to some I've seen in old movies. Not something for the faint of heart. Picture is from blogpost.com

Magic is one of my favorite movies. The dummy doesn't actually move. It's all done by the mentally challenged owner.
