That Pull to Connect

Isn't that the big thing with humans? That pull to connect with another human. Family, friends, etc. I have been thinking a lot about this faucet of my life. With social anxiety and agoraphobia, I don't really spend a lot of time making friends out in the world. The more life thanks to the Donald goes down the tube the more I feel the anxiety and the reasoning behind agoraphobia.
It's hard to trust anyone. It's difficult to see the upside. I lost a wonder friend and human being a few years back. I had known her since I was 15. She died of a major heart attack. Another that I thought was my friend turned on me and actually accused me of taking some things from her. I didn't. If she really knew me, she would know that I didn't. That really hurt. So, these two occurrences really make me want to reach out and be vulnerable. Not!
My energy has been down, and I have felt my energy go elsewhere. I thought my immune system was stronger, but I learned it isn't. Need to shake it off and see the truth. I need to have a better outlook. The Donald is making life a real problem. You just don't know what he will come up with next. Democracy and life as we knew it is going down the tube. We need to fight back. But how? There are 3 more years of this, and he may still fight to stay in office. Ikes! Stand tall and don't think about it. Yeah, right.

I'm sorry about your friend and the one that actually wasn't your friend.

It's very sad. The one who isn't my friend is one odd person.

Lately I have discovered that if my days flow along peacefully and I can do what I enjoy I love it that no one comes around to bother me and I would rather just be alone,

Exactly how I feel. And it is becoming more pronounced as I age.

I am so sorry you suffer from this..if I didn't go out each day I would go nuts.
I don't worry about making friends, I just enjoy nature and what God has given me, my legs that work I am so grateful.

I'm very selective as far as friends I stay in touch with.

Am hoping for the best. I work constantly on trying to be positive. As far as finding good in people, it's either there or it isn't.

He's old and not in good health no matter how much he lies.
