Be Careful What You Wish For

The left invented cancel culture. They thought they were onto something when Aunt Jemimah was shelved. Or when the Washington Redskins had to rename themselves as The Commanders. They didn't consider Uncle Ben's fate, or care. They took down historical statues and smiled, feeling accomplished. Never once did the left ever think, or consider, that they might suffer the same fate. Stephen Colbert? Gone. Jimmy Kimmel? Done. The View? Maybe done soon. There's an old saying that holds true more often than not. It's the one that warns, "Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it." You see, there's one big problem the left faces they didn't realize they faced. The majority voice. They thought woke was good. They thought it was popular. They thought it was working. But Bud Light found out the hard way. So did Cracker Barrel. So did Target. So did the Democrat party and Kamala Harris when they lost everything and had to concede to Republicans and Donald Trump in 2024. What is being cancelled now? Woke ideology. The entire progressive movement. All the voices trying to promote the message no one actually ever wanted to hear that they wholly thought everyone needed to hear. When the shoe is on the other foot, they don't like it, do they? It was fine when it was their voice shouting. It was fine when they were getting their way and we all had to just shut up and conform and accept all of it. Now it's a problem? Now it's an issue? No one batted and eye when Trump was shut out of social media or Mike Lindell's company was destroyed because he had an opinion. What the left failed to recognize is that who they were speaking to were not the masses. They were speaking to the minority, and the only backing they had was the leftist media who would carry their message as though they were speaking for the rest of us. They almost won. But the masses stepped up. They grew tired of being cancelled and being ignored. And now they hold the power of the levers. You (the left) cancelled (or tried to) everything we hold sacred and dear. You tried to make us feel like we'd lost our way. You tried to make us feel like the world and the conversation had changed. It never did. We never changed. Our principles and ideals never changed. Our nation never changed. Our foundational goodness never changed. Like magicians, you (the left) simply tried to convince us the trick was real, but we learned the trick. We saw the smoke, and we saw the mirrors. We saw the creative camera angles. And we finally said, "What's good for the goose is good for the gander." And as such, what we are cancelling now are the false narratives. The fake news. The pretend stories. The phantom majority. We're setting the record straight and holding the charlatans to account. You stepped up at your podiums. At sporting events. At celebrity awards shows. You tried to force your rhetoric on us. We did listen, and at some point, perhaps we even accepted it. But at the same time, we got smarter. We talked amongst others around us and realized, "This is not a reflection of us...the whole...the common majority. We are being tricked." Thank you (the left) for the invention. We will now use it for the advantage of the common good. And of course, good always wins over evil. Your idea was that evil could prevail. That can never happen. We win.

Then why do you read the ones about the truth? You keep saying, "I don't want to participate," but time and time again you thrust yourself into the discussion anyway, all the while saying..."I don't want to talk about it." Makes no sense. By the way, you didn't respond to my last three or four food posts at all. But you DID respond to this one.

@porwest I have been away from home so I haven´t mylotted much. And about US politics, I have mixed feelings because I am not a US citizen and don´t know if I should participate here. My problem about that is that as the US is so powerful, its politics extend beyond the naturl boundaries of the land.

I remember a saying that goes "As a person sows, so shall we reap." I am not shedding tears that we are winning the culture war since evil will be defeated at the end of time.

Evil is always defeated because most people are not evil, and therefore, evil people doing evil things are always outnumbered.

I hope there will be more Charlie Kirk who will have a heart to save many youth from being deceived by the evil deeds of the evil people around the world. Not just kids but everyone, everyone needs to be enlightened. To Christ be the glory.
