Went to get the mail...

...before which I watered the plants--which I'm thinking I should have done later in the evening. My little widget in the corner of the screen says "Temps to rise Friday" and currently it's 92 degrees according to it. 
After that I cleaned the messiest shelf in the refrigerator--a bag of strawberries had leaked and there were puddles of sticky stuff all over the shelf.
After that I went to get the mail, and because of 1) the heat and 2) the fact that I already had over 4,000 steps, I didn't walk farther after I got the mail, I came right back home. The mail wasn't bad--a couple of blank cards and a recipe from one of the ladies in a Facebook group, something from the organization that I have a worker in (actually, I'm waiting for a new worker, because the one I had quit), someone wanting me to take out insurance, and something from the County about my Food stamp/Cal Fresh (the California name for it) EBT card. I think I should contact them and tell me my rent is higher than they have on the paper.
I'm thanking the Lord that I was able to accomplish what I did today, and a bit later when it cools down, some, I'd like to take photos of a ring to put on eBay.

Yeah--and sorry to say I found some other past their due date gross stuff in there, too. Glad I cleaned the shelf so I could see and get rid of it.

There are shower rain in our area.
The letters are so cute, I have never seen a delivered mail after 2002
