I just turned mine off for the night being it's in the 60's at night
I'll turn it back on around noon tomorrow & let it run till about 6 at night.

We have ours set to auto, it's actually better that way and a lot more cost-effective. When you power it off, then power it back on hours later, it uses more power to bring the temp down. But, if you let it be, the ac won't run at night, and won't work as hard in the morning.

@kaylachan Mine doesn't have a thermostat it just
keeps running, that's why I have to turn it off.

@2ndchances24 It should. You might want to look into that. Well, it'd have to have some kind, but maybe you can't find the auto mode?
