Friday night ….a Fisherman’s catch for tea….

We saw this on the menu last week and The Mister thought he and my Mom would enjoy it. So tonight we told Mom where we were going but not really why.
Yes she spotted FISHERMANS CATCH on the menu and chose that. The Mister also chose it .
So there was battered prawns, cod goujons, breaded scampi, with chips, peas and tartare sauce.
They both enjoyed it.
As I can’t eat prawns , I had the chicken, chips and peas.

I actually would have preferred your chicken. I do love lobster, crab and clam strips.

I love crab , although I’ve not had any in a few years. I’ve never had lobster.

@Traceyjayne Lobster is delicious. I'm not supposed to have shellfish anymore. Sigh.

I had salmon fish cakes in the week and I was fine but I can’t eat prawns and only a small portion of scampi, so I didn’t want to take the risk tonight.
I do love seafood but some of it now makes me ill.

@Traceyjayne It’s weird how that happens. In my dad’s forties he suddenly became deathly allergic to shrimp.

I'd be going for the Fisherman's Catch too. Luckily I can eat seafood.
