Which Ones Do You Have?

I think we all have certain areas we are strong in and those that we aren't. We have those areas that give us pause and that we have issues with. Things that scare us and make us rather nervous. I am listing the phobias I have here: * Agoraphobia - I don't like to go outside alone. Crowds and enclosed spaces are very hard for me. Enclosed spaces where I might have trouble escaping from if needed. * Arachnophobia - Large or small spiders make me shudder, and I can't handle watching them move around or be anywhere near them. * Trytophobia - What an epiphany when I realized I had this. It is not being able to handle seed pods or tightly packed holes. I think it has to do, for me anyway, it looks chaotic and I can't handle that. * Ataxophobia - which is the extreme and irrational fear of untidiness and disorder. * Aquaphobia - The fear of water. I can't get close or get into large bodies of water. * Acrophobia - extreme fear of elevated heights. Being on a mountain doesn't faze me but climbing up a ladder or flying over a gorge or something really scares me. Do you have some of these or others? Get a load of this one: hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia It is the extreme fear of 666 The reason for many phobias is unknown. It might be genetic or have to do with brain chemistry.

I don't know that I have any phobias. There are a few unusual ones that you've documented.

Definitely a fear of heights and water where I can't see the bottom. And I can't handle a closed MRI.

Same here. I couldn't do the closed one either. That was rather embarrassing.

I don't like the number 666 but I don't think I have a phobia about it. Most of the things you mentioned don't bother me but my granddaughter has a phobia about spiders.

I didn't either. The name is so long. Spiders are awful.
