Did you have any trick or treaters last night? As usual, I had none.
The MegaMillions jackpot is up to $800 million.
I called Visiting Angels; and their minimum is also 12 hours per week, 4 hours per day. I can't do 12 hours a week. I still haven't heard back from my doctor about the two ladies that she knows that may be able to help me.
Don't forget to "fall back" tonight before you go to bed. Set those clocks back an hour so that it will eventually be dark by 5 pm....Sigh.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, peas, pears
Dessert/Snack - Apple cinnamon fig bar
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, veggie straws, yogurt
What did you eat yesterday?

No, didn’t have any. I don’t think we have any kids in this neighborhood, just old people. I didn’t move into a senior/retirement neighborhood, we all AGED into one!
The usual for lunch, more chicken soup for the sinuses for dinner, applesauce, toast, yogurt!

The kids here go to the development streets where the houses are next to each other.

I'm still hoping to hear about these two women that my doctor knows. I sent her a message.

I finally went to bed at 3 pm yesterday but Pretty said nobody showed up to trick or treat us.
I ate a chicken salad sandwich for breakfast, ate a turkey salad sandwich for lunch and ate the last of the steak, baby carrots and green beans for supper late last night.

@LindaOHio It all was delicious! Thanks. (Pretty made the Korean steak but I made the fried green beans.)

Not even a knock. But we had our light off. Still, we didn't see any walking around outside and our end of the street really never gets any. As for MegaMillions, I won't play for the $5 they want. MAYBE if it gets into the billions I'll shell out for a couple of tickets. But they sort of turned me off to it.
For dinner I had some Stonie's Italian sausages with Romano cheese, so I made those and we had baked beans and salad on the side. Very good stuff.

@LindaOHio To me it's just not worth $5, and the prize pool didn't really increase all that much to justify the higher price either IMO.

I guess you could easily call the doctor's office. There is always some kind of elgibility requirements for these things programs I mean..if you can find someone else it might be best. Yesterday I made enchiladas for dinner. They weren't as good as the las ttime I made them.

I left a message for her online. I had already left a verbal message for her. Hopefully I will hear from her.

We had the lights out in front to keep it dark, but some trick or treaters tried to come to the door anyway. It didn't seem like much though - not many go down our street to trick or treat. I hope you get that help soon - I know how it can get too pricey. The time - I keep forgetting - thank you for the reminder!

We were at church, revival going on so no trick or treaters. But that said it's been 20+ years since we had one. All the big church's around us do the trunk or treat or fall festivals for the kids.
We ate shrimp fried rice, salad and cherry pie.

The organized trick or treat functions are much safer for the kids.

I don't think so, but wasn't home as was taking Eli out.
That's a good amount to win, should really buy some tickets.
Ugh, hate the fall back....the light in the morning again for a while is nice but getting dark so early is awful

The tickets are $5 apiece now. Too much. I hate the early sundown.
