The first day of November

It started out with my dad lecturing me on how I should look for another good job. Apparently, he is not okay with the salary I get. He wants me to appear for other competitive exams.
Today, we installed sliding mosquito nets to the window sills so now I can keep my windows open evening onwards and there will be no bees flying in! That's a relief.
Its 6:30 p.m. here and the floors are all dusty from the installations. I hope the maid comes on time to clean it up asap.

My day is just beginning, as it is 8:10am. I plan to meet up with my best friend today, and am looking forward to it.
I’m sorry to hear your dad is putting pressure on you. If you’re happy and can afford things, then it would be helpful if he were more supportive.

In government jobs the salary maybe high but the stress is the same. You can try if you want to.

You are an adult, why is it your dad's business where you work, unless you are paying him rent and he wants more or something?. I would just move out and be done with him bossing me around.

No I don't have to pay rent or anything. I just buy fruits or other delicacies for my parents occassionally. I live with them in the same house. Here in India, if your office is near your home, people don't move out. I guess that's why he has a say in my career.

I slept for several hours this morning and will go back to sleep this afternoon for several more hours.
I made chicken salad for sandwiches yesterday and ate one for breakfast. I also made turkey salad yesterday and will eat one of those later this afternoon for lunch.
The sliding nets sound nice. We have wire window screens to keep bugs out. I hate bugs in the house!

Wish you a very happy and productive day. My day has been as usual. Today most of my time was spent talking to my lawyer.
