The suitcase has been placed outside the cabin door for unloading in the morning I’ve got one carry on with my cpap in it and toiletries Tomorrow will be a long day traveling home because we have to get off the ship by 10 am and the airline moved out flight back to 4 pm so that’s a lot of wasted time in the airport Plus we connect in Atlanta for two hours. We will be up at 6 am and not home until 11 PM and then we have to v assume the airports are operational with the government shutdown

I know they are. We're still seeing planes fly over our house fairly regurally. camerical airliners, too. And, we live fairly close to an international airport.

Airports don't shut down because of government shutdowns. They're a "vital resource". I hope you make it home safely tomorrow.

Oh dear that's a rather dreary day to end on. I hope things go smoothly, if slowly, and you have a good book for all the waiting around!

Just so long as the flights home don't take as long as the cruise!

Have a safe trip home. You will have lots of time to people watch. That's what hubby and I used to do during layovers.
