I Don't Think This is Fair Marketing

As anyone who reads my posts regularly you probably know that I am not a fan of Amazon. I don't believe in many of their business practices. I just added to my list of issues that I have with the company. I have often found that Amazon came up first in many of my Google searches, but I hadn't really noticed this particular aspect of their business practices. I just tried to price three items. Two out of three of those products had mostly only products available from Amazon listed. Is that really fair? When I go shopping for products I like to have some options. Different companies that offer a different degree of production from rather cheap to very well done. That type of thing. But when there is only one company I don't really feel I am getting that. What are your thoughts on this issue?

I shop Amazon or Walmart. Try Walmart online. They usually have what Amazon has.

Walmart buys a lot of their merchandise from Amazon. I was amazed when one of my bosses at Walmart told me that.

I don't do Amazon and I am beginning to feel the same about Walmart. They are getting too big and don't seem to care about their customers. Shady dealings don't help.

I am not and only use them if I have to. It's sad that Walmart is becoming more like Amazon.

Yeah, that's not fair, but they pay a lot to be first...

And make even more. I do my business elsewhere whenever I can.

We usually just buy from Walmart or Walmart online. If Walmart doesn't have what we want, then Pretty checks to see if Amazon has it.

We do that at times too. I buy a lot from certain stores that have good prices. I'm trying to get away from using either Walmart or Amazon. The kids use Amazon, but I don't until I have to. They remind me of Temu.

@celticeagle Yes, I know you aren't a fan but we don't have a lot of choice.

I check each store separately.
